This world moves at a pace unlike anything we've seen before. Something remarkable ships on a Monday and by Friday it's usurped. Sometimes it's nice to press pause, take a break from the scroll, and mindfully consume some well constructed thoughts. It's my goal that this little slice of the internet will become that place, at least for me, but hopefully for you too.
Over the past decade I've started and led businesses, most recently co-leading FINE™, a strategy, design and conversion agency across tech, health and consumer. These days I spend most of my time deep in AI land. Building tools, automating workflows and figuring out how LLMs actually change the way teams get things done.
I work hands-on with AI every day. I build with agentic coding tools like Claude Code, Codex and other CLI-driven LLM environments to ship internal tools, digital products, automate operations and accelerate product development. I'm interested in the space between strategy and output, and more broadly in the real financial impact AI can have on a business when the right things get built. Not automation for its own sake; automation because there's genuine value sitting there waiting to be unlocked.
I'm Charlie Murray — a founder and AI builder based in Canberra, with a decade in strategy and execution across digital businesses. What's written here is a snapshot of things I stumble across, problems I'm solving, and the genuinely impressive feats of others. I fully expect what I write here to feel embarrassingly obvious in 5 years time so please consider this a temporary record, if you will.
